|Rosie kitty vet visit

The Woman in Purple
I took Rosie kitty to the vet today because her left eye was swollen almost shut, had a lot of gunk in it and was bright red. As I figured he would, the vet told me that I absolutely had to get Rosie in for surgery. However, things have gotten worse now. Rosie has an abscess that is affecting both one of her teeth AND her left eye, and the eye may have to be surgically removed as well as the teeth. Now the estimated $2,000 for the tooth removal has gone up to as much as $3,000 when they factor in the eye removal.
I told the vet there is absolutely no way I can afford that much money. My total bank balance at the moment is $3,039. I could manage $1,500, and maybe even $2,000 if I were very, very careful and neither of the other cats got sick before I started earning money again, but definitely not $3,000. I do not know anyone I can borrow from. I don't have family members that I can ask for money. Monster has no money. I can't get a loan or a payment plan because I don't have steady, predictable employment right now. I even considered applying for a veterinary credit card thingy and lying about my employment, but if they contacted my supposed employer that employer would just say I wasn't working for them at the moment.
The vet said that if I can't pay for the surgery, I will have to "surrender" Rosie to them. Then they would do the surgery and give her to a cat rescue organization for rehoming. He said if I love her, I will do what is best for her, and that means getting the surgery for her even if it means I have to give her up. He also implied without saying it directly that I shouldn't have three cats if I can't pay vet bills for them. (This is the first time I've had trouble paying vet bills except for one occasion when I borrowed money from my sister for a few days, until payday, to pay for Poupée to have a diagnostic ultrasound. I have enough money for normal vet bills, just not for vet bills that cost an entire month's wages.)
I've set up an IndieGoGo funding page. I don't have any perks to offer, at least not in material things, but I'm thinking of maybe saying, "For a donation of X amount, I will give you Y pages of free editing services," or "I will proofread your next writing assignment," or "I will beta read your next fanfic," or something like that.
If you can donate anything at all, even a couple of dollars, I'd be very grateful. I've made my IndieGoGo wish to be $2,500. If you can't afford to donate anything, would you consider sharing the link?
